The game is a console port, badly ported too meaning it uses DX9 so yes, it can run it.

Providing you meet the other requirements like ram, graphics card etc.

The game is not meant to run on Windows XP and this is even mentioned in the spec requirements.

Wikipedia said it uses Directx 9.0c which is compatible with Windows XP?
