doubt about optimizing AC3
Hi, Merry Christmas to all.
I would take the 75% discount, AC3, but my question is whether the problem of optimizing the game already solved, or still as pesimo, my team is:

Processor Phenom II X6 1090T BE 3.7GHz
4GB 800MHz RAm
XFX Video Card HD 6850 1GB drr5

Since e eschuchado very bad reviews because of the performance of the game, even in high-end equipment, this game is going to mourn-

I hope your answer, and sorry for the problem of writing.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hola, a todos feliz navidad.
Quisiera aprovechar, la rebaja del 75 %, de AC3, pero mi duda es si ya se soluciono el problema de la optimización del juego, o sigue igual de pesimo, mi equipo es:

Procesador Phenom II X6 1090T BE 3.7GHz

If there are and have been looking for and should not buy the game if you have an AMD graphics

either way its silly agreement with nvidia, you are losing users.

This game Runs like ass.... i think it is very much cpu capped!
My GPU is only at 30-70%! Usage and i hit 45FPS , i even turned vsync off.

Btw the only way to get stable 60 was to not use TXAA (what is a shame because i kinda like it and geometry set to high.

Rig:
i5-2500k @ 4.2Ghz
GTX 780ti phantom

Now tell me that is normal! (AC4 ran superb with vsync off and everything maxed at >=60fps

If what you heard and that a nvidia goes like water, but this is pure skill of nvida and ubisoft, but now with this it is failing to ubisoft, since this losing followers.

It was impossible to play in Boston because of the lag problem. I tried some fixes that did not work, but i just tried using the Razer Game Booster and the lag problem diminished considerably. I recommend it!

it is, i often find this game loading everything only on one core, which it cranks to 100% (25% of whole processor), it does have multicore, but you have to keep restarting until you see it kick in, and even then, with a 2nd gen i5 it still chewed some 70-85% of total CPU, popping 100% in boston

to be that, since it is 6850 is not very powerful, the better I hope to buy it.

Obviously, the game is not optimized for PC. However, for those who already bought it, like me, there are some adjustments that could help. They were effective in my case and resolved a lot of the FPS problem.

1. Look for the "Assassin3.ini" file, usually in the folder Documents/Assassins Creed 3/
2. Disable (set the value to "0" desables and "1" enables) the following settings:

VSync=0
EnvironmentQuality=0
TextureQuality=0
ShadowQuality=0
ReflectionQuality=0
CharacterQuality=0
PostFX=0
DisableHairAniso=0

If some of the settings above are not in your file, just paste it there with 0.

3. Download the Razer Game Booster software and run the game through it. See that you configure it well (go for custom configurations and select all process/services available).

This helped anyone else?
