This game is so boring

I can't even bring myself to finish it.

Man, what a piece of garbage. Connor is such a bloody flat character.

The only reason I'm forcing myself to finish this game, is to potentially understand the back story of Black Flag.

well yr in for a disappointment then, since BF predates AC3 & the just makes fun of hte dumb meta stuff.

ive played a few times & never made it as far as connor being an assassin (getting geared up or w/e). i cant believe how many grind it out as far as they do

I've heard good things about Black Flag.

Thus far my favourite entry is still AC II.

I heard Unity is a mess too. And frankly I'm not too optimistic about Victory either.

I started with AC 1 a few weeks ago and beat it, moved on to AC 2 + Brotherhood + Revelations, and now beat AC 3 a couple days ago. It's just the same garbage over and over. You would think after roughly 5 versions of the game it would be one hell of a smooth, polished, very fun game but the same bugs and stupid design choices continue to plague it.

Anyway, I sorta feel your pain on AC 3. I finished the base game easy enough but then I tried the multiplayer mode and the Tyranny of King Washington DLC and both were so stupid I can't even bring myself to load it again.

I've heard good things about Black Flag but Ubisoft is such a garbage company I have close to no faith in anything they release. If I play Black Flag it'll probably be borrowed from a friend.

I'm toughing it out now. I'm only on sequence three but sort of enjoying it. Not as good a story as 2, brotherhood, revelations, but so far I think the #rd person controls are a little better. Just now gettint used to the counter attack thing. At least you have to be a little skilled this time not just hold button then click mouse. In case you haven't seen my other posts, I am not very fond of 3rd person games (giant understatement) unless they involve following a nice female butt.

Perhaps you could play Tomb Raider series (Legend, Anniversary, Underworld). Doubtlessly Lara Croft has one fine bottom.

UBI cranked out so many garbage in 2014. Unity. The Crew. Possibly Watch_Dogs. This company used to be good, now it's the biggest laughing stock / subject of hatred in the industry.

This is supposed to be a stealth action game. Instead, they try to stuff in some lousy economy system, which is completely unnnecessary in my opinon.

Same thing - how many people actually crafted bombs in AC Reveleations? I certainly did not. I just stabbed my way through the entire game.

lol Yeah I went through like 95% of the game before I used even 1 bomb. I used them more near the end because they were somewhat useful but really the thing that made it stupid was the limit of 3 bombs. Such a dumb waste, I could use 3 bombs in 1 fight alone and I'm certainly not gonna run to a bench to make more in between every stupid battle.

The economy system in AC 3 was the worst so far. Yeah it was kinda dumb in AC 2 since you could AFK and accumulate money but the caravan system in AC 3 was so poorly designed I didn't start making money until the end of the game and it didn't matter.

Both of these are exactly the stupid design decisions that Ubisoft specializes in though.

This makes sense due to the fact that the founding fathers of America are all Free Masons.

I guess part of me being bored of this game, is that I have zero interest in the history of the American revolution except for the Boston Tea Party incident. Incidentally, the Tea Party sequence also happened to be the most entertaining portion of the game for me thus far.

Honestly the only boring part of the game is playing as his father. Yes I agree they need to fix how they do the villens of the game when you are in battle..which is why I said F it and shoot them or better yet drag their asses down with the rope dart...love that thing. By the way don't forget black flag wouldn't have as good of a system as it does without Connor's game. This game was basically a beta for a lot of things they did and perfected in black flag.

Black flag to me was honestly a dissapointment. Not becaue of the maps but because the plot takes too many side turns. It takes wayyyyyy too long for connors grandfather to develop as a character....the story takes an amazing turn but only at the end of the game...which upset me greatly because the turn it took made me wish the game was longer....

No I am not saying black flag is a bad game but they make you work with the templars too long...you play pirate too long with the only motive being cash...and you don't realize you F up until the end of the game lol...If you want to be a ninja pirate and explore islands and sneak past sharks and fight crocs and as usual kill random people lol, then its the game for you. If you expect an AC game...skip it. Also Black flag has the same problem with "elites" kicking your ass like in connors game...they REALLY need to rebalance those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lol. Trust me just rope dart or shoot them to save yourself some pain lol.
