Exactly. I feel way less inclined to buying Ubisoft's games going forward. If they don't honour my purchases, what is the point?
Wasn't Altair's armor a part of a dlc as well? You have to collect some keys to unlock it?
It was ages ago I played AC2. I was gonna to replay it again before Sep 1 if I have the time.
I think they had already shutdown the AC2 servers. I don't know if those sequences were exclusive to the Deluxe edition, but I managed to get a profile savefile with the deluxe edition content activated and it unlocked the bonus content. This method also worked for uplay content that was no longer available to be redeemed and for other Ubisoft games. I just don't know if it will work with AC3, because it seems like their DLC DRM is a bit different.
Ubisoft really did mess this up.
Tyranny was the best part of the worst game in the series and it is part of the Remastered version, the least Ubi could do is be like From Soft and at least discount 90% off the Remastered version.
Can someone explain to me why I should ever pay money for a Ubisift game again? I can't think of any good reason.
It's actually possible to unlock the DLC. But, you need a save file and probably the AC Save Tool for decryption, I think another person is doing a guide about it soon
I can't really see any reason why you should buy any games in the future.
Not when i know there should be a choice to patch everything in the main games, and separate the Online service with the Single Player DLC.
According to another thread here, the server is unreachable since the middle of July, so for over a month now. Doesn't look like anyone is "working" on it.
