Possible fix for screen flickering and glitching out

TLDR: Try Nvidia App -> Settings -> Untoggle option "NVIDIA overlay"

Hey, there!

If you experience screen glitching out and flickering when playing the game and you have an Nvidia Graphics Card, try disabling Nvidia's in-game Overlay.

You can do that by opening the Nvidia app (not the Nvidia Control Panel) and then going to Settings and untoggling the option "NVIDIA overlay".

I tried literally every fix I could find (10+ different methods) for this problem and this is the only thing that finally worked. Hope it helps!

P.S. I feel obliged to say that, for the record, I didn't come up with the method. Somebody mentioned it as a possible fix on a random thread here, but I can't find where it was... So kudos to whoever suggested it originally.

Disabling NVIDIA overlay didnt help.
Old nvidia driver (536.40) fix flickering for me.

This flicker happen due to the latest update from Steam. Before, everything was perfect.

I disabled the overlay in the ubisoft connect app.
Worked for me.
