battle of saratoga

i live next to the battlegrounds of saratoga and was hoping there was a mission about the battle of saratoga in the game or at least an assasin recruit (sorry if my spelling is bad) mission and i was just wondering why they left out one of the most importenet battles of the revolution

they left out alot. i think they intentionally left alot out to show that connor wasn't a soldier for the americans their interests just overlapped. i also think they were trying to lead up to plot line where the the templars and assassins would work together for the greater good (i.e. the end of game situation with Juno being poised to take over the world and wipe out or enslave the human race . Pity that story hasn't showed up yet, they just seem to have ignored that plot point (although i haven't played 4 or unity so i still have hope....please don't deprive of that)
