They are two seperate entities.
To get the the dlc content in Uplay just click on Assassin Creed 3 game details.

Thanks traykey. I was curious about that 'couse I have the Assassin's Creed II and Brotherhood on Steam, both of them with the dlc content, and they're in the Uplay as well. So...
@GrimHaseo it'll show up as 2 different games on uplay. One will have a link to the steam, the other will not.
I would suggest that both of you contact Ubisoft about your questions.
While I did get AC3 on Uplay, I'll grab the deluxe from steam for the hell of it.
all the free games they had on uplay im probably just going to buy them anyways on steam lol.most of them i had anyways on console but meh.
You can't even link Origin games to Steam, so yeah. Their free games stay on there for like a couple months, then they change to something else.
Like I got Dead Space 1 when it was free on Origin, bought the Dead Space 1 & 2 bundle on Steam. The 3rd game is kinda meh, and only on Origin.
