How I get the DLC's for Assassin's Creed III when it's just on Uplay library?
In the Ubisoft's 30th anniversary promotion, I got the Assassin's Creed III, but I noticed that the game isn't in the Steam's library, just in the Uplay's library. I want to know if there's a way to buy the dlc through Steam and still works on Uplay or not, and where I can get the dlc by Uplay. 'Cause I search it but didn't found all of them :/ (and sorry by the english)

You cannot buy/play dlc from Steam to use on Uplay.
They are two seperate entities.
To get the the dlc content in Uplay just click on Assassin Creed 3 game details.

Hope that helps.

If one purchases the deluxe edition in steam , will it overwrite the uplay one which was got for free?

Thanks traykey. I was curious about that 'couse I have the Assassin's Creed II and Brotherhood on Steam, both of them with the dlc content, and they're in the Uplay as well. So...

But hey, I was looking and it there's only two dlc content in the uplay (season pass and hidden secrets pack), but in the Steam there's a lot more of content. There is a reason for that or what?

@MikeSebs Uplay's store is different from Steam. It does have all dlcs, just set up differently. The in game store will take you to the uplay shop site, but ask Ubisoft about it.

@GrimHaseo it'll show up as 2 different games on uplay. One will have a link to the steam, the other will not.

I would suggest that both of you contact Ubisoft about your questions.

While I did get AC3 on Uplay, I'll grab the deluxe from steam for the hell of it.

@MikeSebs I contacted Ubisoft about The Crew awhile back, as to why it showed up twice. I was asking them about something else.

and this is why other game companies should just let steam be the only dominating game platform on PC, the uplay thing is nice with thier reward system for thier games but not being able to link a game you buy on uplay up with steam is stupid. i love ubisoft games but this is the only thing that i hate with this company.

all the free games they had on uplay im probably just going to buy them anyways on steam lol.most of them i had anyways on console but meh.

Tbh, uplay prices for their games don't always reflect steam's prices. I'll continue to buy games directly on steam, rather thru origin (ew) or uplay.

You can't even link Origin games to Steam, so yeah. Their free games stay on there for like a couple months, then they change to something else.

Like I got Dead Space 1 when it was free on Origin, bought the Dead Space 1 & 2 bundle on Steam. The 3rd game is kinda meh, and only on Origin.
