Just tested it on mhy setup and it does work although I prefer 90.
Yeah. That's the only other thing going for it as I have an Nvidia 3D Vision 2.0 setup. Think I'll give it a miss tbh or at least wait for a sale. Cheers for the replies.
I would even advice people to buy the original Doom 3 over this game, since the original is way better since you can apply some mods for better graphics, etc.
Also this: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-whats-new-for-pc-doom-3-bfg-edition
You get the original Doom 1 & 2 that are playable in Windows. Doom 3 and RoE with updated interfaces plus new levels for Doom 3 and a wad pack for Doom 2. You'd be stupid to miss this if you are a Doom fan.
Really, no but really really, what have they done that warrents ANYONE paying that much for a game that 6 weeks ago I got for £5.00 & that includes the Expansion, I mean REALLY REALLY.
NO STEAM, Just NO!, U bad Steam, BAD steam. (sorted) ¬.¬ (or is it ? )
Right-click on Doom 3: BFG Edition in your Steam Library.
Click "Properties" at the bottom of the menu.
Under the "General Tab", click "Set Launch Option".
Add the following line, no quotes: "+seta com_allowconsole 1"
Run the game.
If you wish to change the FOV, press ~ while in game to open the console, and type "set g_fov xxx" where "xxx" is the numerical value you want your FOV. I prefer 90.
If you dislike the lighting, try "set r_gamma 0.85", and adjust the brightness UP just a tad. Should get rid of the "washed out" look.
