Try opening it in windowed mode and see if you can get it working. Right click on the game, then select properties, then click set launch options and type "set r_fullscreen 0" (without quotes) see if that allows you in. Then click here http://steamcommunity.com/app/208200/discussions/0/864949037794399234/ and follow the instructions.

If this doesn't help, I don't know what else to tell you.

It worked, now I'm able to play it in windowed mode... I don't get the maximum experience, but I can play it. Thanks. :)

I FOUND THAT I HAD MY RESOLUTION ON 30i. I changed it to 1080p and it worked

try changing the hertz on your monitor or TV to 60p

I put this under properties make yourself a shortcut and put this after "Doom3.exe" under the target
+set r_fullscreen -1 +set r_windowHeight "1080" +set r_windowWidth "1920" +set r_windowY "0" +set r_windowX "0"

I give up F*** this game period. no mater wtf I do it loads no textures all white blocks in menu just a trash game waste of F***ing money grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

launch options: "set r_fullscreen 2" worked for me

What Jonathan wrote worked perfect. Now can I play the game again in fullscreen. It's weird, but just yesterday everything worked without the extra launch options.
