Online Coop?

is there a way to play online coop? original xbox 2004 version has it, and is there a way or mod to install online coop matchmaking?

There are couple of mods for PC version. OpenCoop , Last Man Standing, Marcs City security (seems to have the best netcode).
Also LibreCoop for Dhewm3(OpenSource Port)

but how can you invite a friend? or it launch the server into machtmaking? its weird how a online lobby can be launch by console commands hidden in game and is not included in the game, for me this was the most important feature of the game in original xbox

I think you need to set up dedicated server , also I think Mars City security has couple of servers on running all the time.

Mars City Security mod lets you call for AI teammates at the start of the map via computer.

another important question, steam version is BFG? are the mods though only for bfg or only for original doom? are there the both version in steam? which one recommend you? i prefer original becase the lantern but i think steam version is only BFG

They packed Doom 3 + expansios and BFG into one pack. So you will get all of them on steam.
But most mods are for original doom 3 as are Coop mods.

For coop campaign on doom 3 you need to have the original doom 3 not the BFG edition. Then you'll need to download the doom 3 open coop mod. To start a server i recommend using hamachi.

Damn, it's a pity, that BFG has no coop from the box
