Why main character does not turn into zombie?
Game begins, main character is right there and everyone around him and even from far away from gellgate everyone turn into demon zombies but main character does not. THIS IS UNFAIR. WHY THIS HAPPENS?

There are few reasons. First, you came here only recently so you weren't weakened by being under demonic presence like the others. Second, the flying skulls were randomly picking up people, sometimes ignoring obvious prey. When invasion starts, you are in airlock and from some reason, the fyling skull ignores you. Moments later, you see one of them actually flying into some small hole in wall, where one of the workers hid, thus making him a zombie. Many people were as lucky as you. They weren't zombified and started to fight with demons but they mostly died ofscreen. There were some who lasted even longer than the others but Betruger used his magic and turned them into even more powerful version of demons. Many people say that the bathroom scene from the mars city indicates that hell tried to make you a zombie then, but they failed. But from the second side, Ian McCormick was exposed to being in delta labs, saw every atrocites made my betruger and knew about everything but somehow he survived and later told you about this. So the best answer is, the hell were picking up their victims at random. They didn't want to change everyone because they were actually practising before the earth invasion so they had to leave some people to practise on xd

Why was the demon invasion a problem if the UAC base has thele little walker bots that absolutely annihilate any demons they encounter?
It was said that most of them were somehow destroyed by demons. But we never actually find any destroyed bots, we only see the new ones. It's strange really. Maybe it was the hellish wave, which made them unfunctional, like many doors in game, who suddenly go offlline and you can't go back.

But later demons were flying once again but did not kill main character or did not infect him.
Well 99.9% turned into zombies... you were the only one who did not turn into zombie where you were... other some survivors were far far away from you... but you were with all workers and they turned into zombies and you did not. unfair

Please consider that if the main character had gotten posessed as well, there would be no game to play.

Also you're playing a game where the story literally does not matter.
We can have many questions like this : Why in Lost Missions, our team gets ambushed so easily and you barely escape with your life only to singlehandely do some big mission later, or why bravo marines were easily killed by imps jumping on them, when you have etwas 1000 situations like this and never even collapse on the ground...

Lazy writing. I would gave movie 4 out of 10.

spoiler: later in the game u will hear that the first invasion on the mars was stopped by the strongest warrior of the marsian people. Your char is so to speak the new chosen warrior wich is able to stop the invasion. If u pay attention u can see that right after u finished the first fight (when the invasion started and everybody became a zombie) in the moment u are in the elevator, a deamon spirit fire skull (dont know how to call it) flies into your body and tries to turn u into a zombie like an other fire skull did it with the scientist from the cutscene before. But it didnt affect you, so your immun to it. Also other people survived a little bit longer but only because they where in hidden areas.

Your marine is just stronger than the other guys, in Lost mission you where a experienced captain + u dont have to fight so many enemies, this marine also dies in the original story line

He's fulfilling the prophecy of an ancient civilization. That, and there'd be no game without him.

Could be nanomachines, though.

(l8 comment ik) It harder to possess a person with a strong mind(mentally). But i dont know why the demons didnt even try to possess him.

The "DOOM Guy" is some sort of supernatural being in the newest DOOM. If people have opened a portal to actual, literal, biblical Hell and demons are coming through, then it would stand to reason that "God" would send down an Angel or a representative/warrior of some sort to even out the balance so the puny humans don't get enslaved and end up treated like we treat chickens.

doom isnt based on the demons from the bible they seem to be more of a alien type species than something from the bible.
