i can execute with steam? cause with the rbdoom3bfg.exe steam isnt working.

FIX TO RUNNING rbdoom3BFG.exe WITH STEAM:
I know I fix to that sir. Just rename the new .exe which is rbdoom3BFG.exe to the name of the original .exe which should be Doom3BFG.exe. I will trick Steam into thinking that the renamed .exe is the original, thus you can now run the game with Steam again.

move the doom3bfg.exe ot a different folder and rename RBdoom3bfg.exe to doom3bfg.exe.

Now steam will run the the new .exe as if it was the original doom3bfg.exe :D

I've put all files in the Steam DOOM 3 folder, moved doom3bfg.exe to a new folder renamed RBdoom3bfg.exe to doom3bfg.exe

Steam will open DOOM 3 BFG, it will run DOOM and DOOM II but when I try and load DOOM 3 the game just crashs, any ideas?

Start with a fresh install if you haven't...
By "put all of the files" you mean you let the .exe install RBdoom3bg.exe + associated files to your doom3bfg folder correct?

If it worked before you switched/moved .exe's i don't know what to tell you.

This mod is amazing, thank you for the heads up. Looks alot more sharper and fixed the ugly stock shadows with soft ones. Dont think achievments work though, only downside
