Is the UAC an evil company?
I mean is it like like the Umbrella or Weyland Yutani Corporation? In the intro it say that UAC is doing reasearches, which are moraly questionable so this could be a sign that they are indeed evil.

They're not evil...just reallly realllly stupid..cause a lot of their research has been for stuff we're doing today...fuel emissions/power/guns...and ofc teleporting but they're stupid as helll is all...

from my point of view, there nothing but a buntch or "Republican-like" capitalists-pigs (all they think about is money!) an so they weren't thinking about the dangers of interdementional-teleportation tech, all they were thinking about is the money!

That's all every company thinks about...the goal of any business is to make money no matter what...sooo yeah..

I saw UAC as an Umbrella type company, some good but alot more bad. Using experimental weapons, human test subjects, and mad scientists all helped full their want to more power and they ended up creating rift into hell itself.

I see UAC as neither good or evil, just greedy. Depending on what viewpoint you use, it certainly seems that at least some of their board members are decent. Some of their hirelings can certainly be overly "pragmatic" in their approach to human resources. When i say pragmatic, i mean ruthless.

well the uac isnt evil but betrueger despite him only being one man is the devil incarnate which mis leads the uac into thinking they are exploring different dimmensions but really they opened a portal to hell.

I woulda loved to have seen more of NPCs fighting each other tbh...the whole our military got whiped out yet only like 8 souls remain is a bit..dumb XD..thats why i liked LMS co-op tbh
The UAC is definitely evil, the grenades they manufacture are designed to bounce back at the thrower!

Are it really just eight? I thought that there are a bit more ^^ But yeah, if you mean fights between soldiers and demons, that would have been nice.

UAC isn't evil, that's why they sent Swann to do a report on the status of the Mars facility. Elizabeth McNeill left a week before and alerted the UAC council of Betruger's increasingly erratic and unstable behavior.
The runes told of a portal and it was originally misinterpreted as a teleporter but unfortunately for the extinct Mars humanoid race it was a gate to Hell.
Betruger went to hell and it corrupted him because he was probably already susceptible to evil. Overly ambitious, greedy, aggressive, all the traits the devil could manipulate.

All the tests afterwards were simply facades, bringing back specimens wasn't the main goal at all, nor was interplanetary travel. It was all just test runs for the teleporters being created to be perfected to maintain a gateway to hell long enough for an invasion force to be sustained.
It's all explained in the PDA's guise.

But yeah it's dumb that a bunch of civilians managed to survive but nobody with a gun could overpower slow weak co-worker zombies or z-sec. Everyone did the typical horror theme thing and split up and that's what made everyone die. Had they regrouped with DoomGuy your character the game would be over in like 4 hours instead of 10. But then they'd need to make the game longer.
That's probably what doom 4 is gonna be like, squad-based combat with a constantly-changing squad based on who gets killed by ceiling imps/hellknight surprises/end of level bosses. Then you'd find other stranded soldiers and they'd be integrated into your group until someone else dies, and vice versa.
But that's just me speculating at this point lol. I imagine a mix of RAGEs open-ish world and Quake 4's squad combat/ scary lone wolf sections, with vehicular combat mixed in there since it'll take place on Earth.

Tanks vs cyberdemon, a BFG tank.
