Report a translation problem
I guess I can understand the "tension" argument but it just doesn't really feel justified in the narrative if were going for a more grounded tone. If anything it just feels like gimping/handicapping yourself, which ironically makes enemies seem like less of a threat. "I'm so badass that I even give you a head start to attack me before I can fend you off with my gun!"
I haven't played dead space’s remake (my PC not strong enough and already I'm playing horror action game). Based on the fact that the remake is more detailed than the original of 2008, it could very possibly be scarier.
