Doom 3 BFG Edition includes the Resurrection of Evil?

I'm thinking about to buy this Doom 3 BFG Edition,
but I don't know if includes the Doom 3 Expansion: Resurrection of Evil.
Can anyone confirm that to me?

PS.: What does BFG means?

BFG means "Big F(censored)g Gun, a carry-over from the earlier games. Here it could very well mean "Big Freaking Game" Edition. It does indeed include Resurrection of Evil.

Although, the section on RoE that you use a DooM 64-style helmet in the area with toxic gas is nowhere near as challenging as in RoE. You can't use the helmet and your oxygen doesn't decrease as you go through like when you're outside and in the same section in RoE.

Yes. I finished playing D3 last night and started RoE today. Simply click on the center picture when you start the game. To the left will be Doom-1. Center will be D3. Right will be Doom-2. When you click on the center picture and select NEW GAME, you will then choose from among THREE (3) games: D3, RoE, and some other game. These slections only appear when starting a NEW GAME. The same save folder is used.

The "some other game" is an extra campaign they added in BFG Edition called "Lost Mission," i've played through it on both normal and nightmare and i can say it's really easy compared to RoE and the main DooM 3 campaign. It also feels very rushed and some maps use parts from the DooM 3 and RoE campaigns, but the way they were used looks and feels very inconsistent with those two campaigns.

Has anyone found a way to make the Marine in the Doom 3: BFG Edition version of Resurrection of Evil wear his helmet during normal gameplay?

Sadly no, i think this was based off of the Xbox One port of the game which didn't include it.

I have played this with Doom 3: BFG Edition. I have screenshots of Marines in Resurrection of Evil wearing the new helmet type, and I have found models for the new helmet. I have tried to give the Marine the new helmet, but the game crashes with my attempts.
