Widescreen support and 60 fps for Doom 1+2?

It seems that the PS4/Xbox Versions of the classic Doom 1+2 games have received some improvments via an update a few monts ago which lets you play the classic Doom games without any bars (16:9 widescreen) and 60 fps. I just started Doom 1 in the BFG Version and its still locked to 30 fps with bars. I read the also updated the PC versions so why the hell did they not include the update in the BFG-Edition? Or did i miss something?

Steam versions of Doom 1/2 also got that update. These ones:

ok than i guess they didn't seem to care about the BFG editions of Doom 1 and 2 which is ridiculous....

It would mean twice the work. Notably they'd had to combine Doom 3 engine with Unity 2018 which those updated versions use.

Anyway you can try DOOM: BFA[github.com] aka Classic-RBDOOM-3-BFG. IIRC it features both widescreen and frame interpolation for Doom 1/2.

ok thanks i didn't know they used different engines for the updated versions. I maybe get the Slayer Collection for PS4 which has all classic doom games and the BFG editon with updated versions of all games.
