Windows 10
Does this game have issues running on windows 10? I purchase new DOOM and I love it. I hear the old ones are better so I'd like to check them out, but you never know how older games run on windows 10.

I am playing it right now using Windows 10 64-Bit. I have had no problems at all, so it should be fine

I'm hearing 50/50 working or not. Im just gonna make sure to try it before the 2 weeks are up.

i installed it in both of my computers, both Windows 10. One of them can't work, the other just works fine. Same DirectX & VC redist components for both computers. Don't know why. I have bought the game for 1 week, still can't figure out why.

its just not optimized for win 10 so errors will be random

It could be an issue with a particular motherboards windows 10 drivers, rather than the games compatibility with windows 10 itself.

I have an Asus P67 board. There isn't any windows 10 drivers for it on the Asus support site. I use a combination windows 8.1 drivers, generic intel chipset drivers and obviously plug and play microsoft drivers.

So I suppose I could only guarantee the game will work on a P8P67 M Pro, 2600k and 750ti (with all the same drivers I use)

Hey guys, I'm back with some advice that may help. I jsut re-installed my Windows 10 system & Steam. When I launched Doom3:BFG, it automatically installed Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5. I believe the newest DirectX should have been checked & install. I also can see Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 Redistributable - 10.0.40291 being installed in the "Program and Function".
I just play the game for 10 minutes, and it's just OK.:steamhappy:

Might be different for everyone but I haven't had any issues. Run smooth.

I am having issues with brand new installment of windows 10. Doesn't prevent me from playing the game but it is an annoyance. Cause I have to control alt delete, bring the task manager up and then hit cancel and it goes back into the game. If I don't do that my screen stays black, but I can hear the game.
Windows 10..... ewwww..... I'd put some antiseptic on that ♥♥♥♥ if I were you.
