doom 2 finish on ultra violence achievement

Hello guys,

I was just wondering: do you need to finish all levels including secret levels of Doom 2 to get the achievement of completing the game on Ultra Violence? Or is it sufficient to finish all the 30 regular levels?

I am asking because I just realized that I am on level 24, i did not do the secret levels, and I have no save game for level 15. I am trying to get the Ultra Violence achievement, but it would be a bummer if I had to start all over for the secret levels....

hi, can i ask you, how did you get this achievement - "DOOM II: Superior Firepower"? i've beat the game on UV, and it doesn't appear =(

@chlorum, there is no secret way to do this. If it didnt pop, it can be some strange glitch, or u marked other diff level, not UV+

that's right; I did not do anything special; I just went through all of them. Anyway, the game is quite full of glitches (I had once to track back like 4 levels because some elevator in the game would not rise high enough for some reason.... go figure); but i redid all levels, and got the clean finish on UltraViolence, so the achievemtn popped up; I was careful not to do anything out of the ordinary which might activate some glitch....
