Doom 2016 mods for Doom 3 BFG?

Just wondering if there are any projects that have started to incorporate the Doom 2016 gameplay mechanics into Doom 3? How guns handle, movement, melee, healing, ammo, maybe some enemy AI tweaking etc.

That seems more like a visual mod than one that tries to capture the gameplay aspect of Doom 2016.

I do not think a mod like this is very useful the best it is to play the new Doom to have improvement

Eh? What does usefulness have to do with anything? How about this for usefulness: Doom 3/BFG has lower sys requirements while still looking decent, so if you'd want to enjoy Doom 2016 gameplay with decent-ish graphics AND 60+ fps, then a mod would be very useful.
And tell that to all the people implementing Doom 2016 features into classic Doom.

It probably can't happen due to the differences in map design in both games.

Doom 3 was not really meant to have the same gameplay aspects like original doom or even doom 2016. It was meant to be darker and slower that the older games. Whether you like the darker, slower doom 3 than og doom or doom 2016 is up to you. If you really want the gameplay of doom 2016, I sudgest either buying 2016 doom, or playing the og doom or doom 2 that came with doom 3 bfg. There are probably some graphics or A.I mods out there that will help enhance doom 3 bfg, but i dont know.

Shame that I haven't found any for Doom 3 though, would be interesting seeing similar attempts at recreating the gameplay mechanics in this engine.
