How can I change the language of the game to english?
German game trenslations suck most of the time anyways and the german text sometimes overlaps the borders of information panel, which results in some of the text missing

Open the D3BFGConfig.cfg with notepad located:
C:\Users\m\Saved Games\id Software\DOOM 3 BFG\base

find this line and set to 1
set com_product_lang_ext "1"
