How to use artifact in RoE?
So I got the artifact, it's heart or something.
There was one place there I needed to use it to proceed, I used it and I can't use it since. Now I need to use it again to proceed(some kind of green spikes are flying and kiling me, time stop would easily let me through), but I can't... In Doom 3 I could use the cube every 5 kills. So what makes RoE artifact active again?

Edit: managed to beat it without time stop, but I still wonder how to activate heart.
