screenshots...
dont work on other keys than F12 and F12 disables achievments didnt find the solution
btw quick load also doesnt work, this is bs

tried didnt get any achievments yet but only F12 makes screenshots, probably steam has something to do with that

After unbinding F12 in game options Doom will stop doing his own screenshots and disabling achievements. Steam F12 screenshot option should remain. For achievements to work you need to load saved game before doing any screenshots, or start new, as the "cheating" state is also saved.
Dunno about quick load, it works for me.

im not gonna start all over again is there a way to manully reenable achievments.

you press the key (F12) you already binded to remove it when binding in options

TO MP PAGE,PRESS SHIFT-TAB...BOTTOM LEFT IS YOUR SCREENSHOTS,GO INTO SET SHORT CUT THEN YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR KEY TO WHAT YOU WANT THEN.

That will change Steam Overlay's screenshot key. There's no problem with it. Problem is with Doom3's own screenshot key which is bound also to F12.

lol Because of this, I never got the achievement for beating the Sabaoth, despite finishing the game. Not a big issue, as I intend to play and beat the game on every difficulty setting available. It took me a while to realize, it was the screen shot feature that was disabling the achievements. Keeping my finger off that key from now on.

year late reply but I'd like to thank the OP big time for the tip. it's been driving me insane not being able to take snapshots of the game. I don't really care for the story or the gameplay but damn if it can still look pretty from time to time.
