Should I play Resurrection of Evil and Lost Mission?

I'm close to beating the main campaign, and to be honest, I kinda dragged myself through the last part. The game was so repititive and... non-scary that I didn't really have that much fun playing it. The only part I liked a lot was Hell, because it felt more like the original Doom games. The thing is, after the campaign there's still RoE and Lost Mission, and I'm just not sure whether to play them. How long do they take to beat? Are they worth playing, or should I just play one of my many other (probably better) unfinished games?

I enjoy RoE alot. It's level design is more varied and gameplay is focused more around combat.
It introduces a few new enemy types and adds new weapons which are fun to use and mess around with.
It lasts for about 4 to 5 hrs. I'd give it a try. If you don't enjoy it after the first few missions you can still decide to skip it and move on to oyher games.

Wear Headphones, Full Blast and turn your Brightness down. Or just play the original. Can't have your light and gun out at the same time. Mixes it up

I personally enjoyed it, but don't think that it holds the quality of the original Doom 3 or god forbid the much better new Doom version. But yes, as you already own it, I would play it. You will enjoy the playstyle and bits of the game and it is worth the effort to try.

i loved doom i just play it for the action but for spooky i play on nightmare "to make the the demon voices work and "i smell fear" and creepy ♥♥♥♥ also too turn down brightness

It is 'more of the same', just don't expect the same quality is all. Like for instance, instead of being "Extremely Satisfied", think that you will just leave "Satisfied".

Hi, I've played doom 3 through when it came out. If I buy Doom BFG and install it, can I directly play RoE and the Lost Mission? Or do I have to play through Doom 3 again just to unlock them?

No. Each individual game is available upon installation. I played and beat Lost Mission a few hours ago, and hadn't even begun the campaign for Doom 3 yet.

Original doom3 is way better than bfg because of lighting and weapons .And the lost mission and ROE are like original so also better.
