Version 1.0.2 - Stability, Smaller Bugfixes and German Text Version

Hey everyone,

we worked hard to bring you our first bigger Patch Version 1.0.2

While it still won't be the end of our road this version packs some smaller changes:

- Small restructure of the Tutorial
- Fixed Physics Glitches
- and a complete German Text Version.

We hope you enjoy these Changes.

1.0.3 will probably arrive later this year in late April because we can only work on the game in our free time. But it will bring some fixes and additions to the soundscape.

The Release of Belonging

Finally!

Belonging celebrates the release of version 1.0 today, the journey to this point has been very rocky and we had a decision to make. Either the game is finished or it goes into development hell. With the risk that it might never be finished. We decided to finish the game.

The result is: a good adventure game created with profound background knowledge and a few surprises for the players. We sincerely hope you enjoy exploring the inner workings of the cult!

But we are far from finished. Bug fixes and content patches are planned for the near future.

These include in the first 3 months after release:

- Fixes for minor problems with the engine
- Fixes for UI elements
- Fixes for sound
- Content patches with sound updates
- German localization

and maybe even more.

Gamebreaking bug

I hardcrashed in the server room. Upon loading I could no longer download locations. Then I fell through the lift going up, it saved over, and now I'm stuck.

Demo feedback and general impressions

A story-heavy walking sim with investigation elements, akin to Tacoma and The Station. Set in the near future, it has an itriguing premise - investigating the abandoned headquarters of a mysterious crossfit cult after their sudden disappearance. Some kind of an AR device allows you to hack data points and replay recreated scenes/recordings, very much Tacoma-style. The demo is rough, looks more like a proof of concept. It does say Alpha Preview, so maybe that's the cause though. There are ...
