This alone says that you're on that part of the audience that is embarassed or just insecure
Games are to be played, not to be showcased to your parents or random randy
This logic of 'bruh it can't be played infront of others' can apply to anything if you stretch it hard enough
But yeah, it is annoying when you have to "hide" to play game because other people will get the wrong idea due to weird voice acting or random fanservice (especially when living with your familly or with a roommate). It's like you have to justify yourself for playing a game when you should only concern yourself with "is it fun or not"
Games seems pretty fluid and fast-paced, so it is on the "let's see" list for me.
UPDATE: I didn't hear the voices before playing the demo (English voices). These are actually fine.
A few days ago, I tried "Corpse Party".
The intro alone was the biggest horror.
And than, there came the first jumpscare... "ONIIIII-CHAN!!!", and I was just so done with it.
I don't need squeeking in my games.
I'm always happy when a game, that forces japanese voices on the player, provides an option to use a lower pitched one ("Dragon Marked for Death" has a good one).
But I'm so sick of these high pitched voices...
Also remember, never complain about anything, especially when it's Anime/Japan related, or the weeb army goes crazy...
Voices are fine though imo.
This reminds me of the first demo for Lost Ruins where people complained that the heroine sounded too ♥♥♥♥♥♥ lol.
But either way if loli or demoness ♥♥♥♥ is not your thing, i would only suggest giving it a look if you like the gameplay, because if galgun was anything lewd pretty sure this gonna be the same
No ♥♥♥♥ real people don't talk in real life the same way they do when they're VOICE ACTING.
I mean, that's true EVERYWHERE. And i guess you being to Japan and interacting with real Japanese women ACTUALLY means you spent an inordinate amount of time around real Japanese High school girls for you to make such a bold claim as to know that the WHOLE OTAKU INDUSTRY has this weird kink.
...methinks the lady doth protest too much...
