farewell loadout.....you will be missed...

when i first got to steam loadout was the only game i played.... i mastered along side me and a team of bot grinding experts...
i am shadowfoxmedic.
and im proud to have played loadout and it brings me shame to see how far its fallen... thankyou rob and all of your friends and supporters for making loadout a reality...
its a shame to see it gowhen i first started playing, the only people i knew were

the excitement i fealt every time i won a match
the pain i felt after loosing a match...

TF2 cannot compare.
for nothing made me smile more, the mowing down feilds of enemies with a weapon of my own design. characters of my own choice.

it went to the point where i had made everyweapon combo, tested every weapon concept
and done just about everything possible in loadout, and it never got stale to me.

So here's to you

My understanding is that it's only available to people who already have it. You'd have to contact Steam support and cross your fingers.

I don't suppose that the game itself will still work after shutdown? It would be FANTASTIC if the entire game became like weapon test mode, where it's just an instance hosted on the player's computer, but not actually connected to a server or other players. I would be happy if I can just play offline against bots, no server or cloud needed. Just load the entire game onto my computer for an offline mode.
