While she was young, she attended at this same school.
She was diagnozed with conduct disorder due to her cruel tone and not caring about relationships. She also had a sense of justice.
She was followed by a younger student who would, after a certain incident be killed by her for being bothersome. Apparently this student was a bit of a bully.
After that this student became a ghost of the original spirit prison in the school. She is the student you see appear every now and then.
Of course she hates the protagonist of story 2, and stalks her as a strange ghost (she is the purple ghost). This is revealed in a cutscene, as well as by her herself.
(although it doesn't really make sense since the ghost quickly leaves you alone and doesn't seem to do much harm. The police guy is a better chaser.)
Edit: Just saying, but version 4.0 has a bug that prevents you from seeing her best ending, in which she asks for forgiveness from the spirit and is forgiven through a rituel where she too opens her heart.
