This is the first title EVER that my girlfriend has enjoyed - she hates vidja games... I love 'em, so this was a MASSIVE breakthrough. I really can't stress how crazy this is... 6 years later and then... Botanicula!?

Anyways... I'm still awe-struck. What I really want to know is this - are there any other games that are strikingly similar to Botanicula? I really want to keep this groove going... it may be my only shot!

I'd recommend Full Pipe, but it seems to no longer be available.

Axel and Pixel is good. Tiny Bang Theory is good if you're into hunting for things as well as doing puzzles.

Im a big fan too have have been compiling somewhat similar adventure games list. Machinarium, Axel & pixel, Somarost 1 & 2, Primordia(really good), The tiny bang story, Broken Sword 1 & 2, Limbo, lunnye devitsy, unmechanical, vessel, the whispered world, blue berry garden, The longest journey, A new beginning, braid, capsized, closure, creavures, home, The dream machine, The secret of monkey island, eufloria, world of goo,thomas was alone, insanely twisted shadow planet, super sword and sorcer, lume, . Non steam: Neverhood, beneath a steel sky(free on gog), little wheel, the quest for the rest, Shapik: the quest, the old tree, haluz 1 & 2.

Good game, but it is a very challenging platformer that would pose lots of issues for casual gamers I reckon.
