I've left him alive. More than that, i've brought him with me to ep. 5. And all the rest of the group.
I believe if someone is a part of my team, he'll die only in a case where I have nothing to do with this.
I really regretted my decision though after Clementine said she understood why Ben chose to not be saved considering the situation, and how her mom taught her that people who "think of others before themself" makes them a good person. Made me feel like a complete d-bag especially considering the truth was I could've saved him anyway. He was just a kid who felt like complete ♥♥♥♥ over everything and wanted to die in the spur of the moment, and like a bastard I obliged.
Letting him go was actually the very first choice I've made that I feel wrong about. It was done out of pent up frustration over his stupidity and it was wrong of me to act on negative impulse like that.
With that in mind, it's yet another reason why I feel so bad about letting Ben go because I can relate to him in that regard, although I'm not useless like he is in every other regard. I had originally planned to not take him with us on the boat, but damn, I didn't have to go so far as to let him fall.
episode 4 has some dumb decisions but "kill Ben just-becouse-you-can" wtf who the hell write this stuff? i mean if Ben realy makes things worse why dont Telltale add option to get rid of him? without throwing him in the pit of death
for last two episodes i cant remember any important decision Lee can make, and i'm kinda dissapointed at telltale
Also I like calling him shaggy and berating him out loud every time he's on screen.
TelltaleGames are really doing a good job at keeping the choices in the moral "grey" area so to speak. People can talk a good game, but if it really came down to it, Morals usually take over.. least mine did.
