Is ther ANY way to change these???
No, there is no possibility to change the controls. Telltale put the controls to the very standard for a game nowdays, WASD/arrows for movement, mouse for actions and look, and QE for combat. A small game like The Walking Dead with such limited things to do you don't need a fully mapped keyboard.

Thanks, but guess what? Not everybody is righthanded and not everybody uses WASD.

Then use the arrows for movement. Trust me, this discussion has been brought up to Telltale a hundred times and the majority of players don't think it's necessary to add re-mapping options. I'd understand if it was a simulator, a shooter, or a RPG which have massive controls. Telltale is not going to add the option to re-map the keys anytime soon to their games. You could also try with a GamePad, but don't try if you have Windows 8. It'll result in disaster.

Tha game does not recognize/support my gamepad for some reason. Other games seem to have no problem with it, though.

ESDF > WASD. WASD is an anachronism and should no longer be default in any game. It especially shouldn't be the only choice. That being said you can just make an AutoHotkey script and remap things however you want regardless of whether the game allows you to change key bindings.

Steam says I currently have 173 games. This is the only one that will not allow me to change the movement controls. (I use ASDF. which is nearly a mirror of the vi movement keys.) Crappy support.
You know how spoiled you sound?
