Game not starting FIX

Okay, so I had a problem while starting the game and I've found the soloution. If you had the same problem as me, then all you have to do is disconnect your gamepad. Posted this to help anyone who had this problem.

Thanks, man. Works for me. Lemme know if you find a fix to play with the gamepad again. I had it working just fine about a month ago, and I certainly prefer it to keyboard controls.

i got worried at first. figured this one out on my own. i was like man dont tell me i just wasted $25. lol i wish this xbox controller would work though. its a 3rd party one but all my other games recognize it. i saw someone say it works fine with Official xbox controller. or has a recent update nerfed playing with a controller?
those action scenes requiring quick reflexes is pretty hard playing with touchpad. you have to react fast. i got this season pass, all episodes, on my MS Surface Pro with the type cover. it looks and plays amazing at full 1080P resolution and all graphics options on high.
im glad i purchased this game. i can tell i will really enjoy it. it really pulls you in. im feeling the walking dead intensity like on the series all over again. ive never read the comic book. so hopefully this game will give me insight into that.
