2) This one was annoying because i stayed in the car after trying to convive him to just drive on, got attacked and i wanted to yell for help but oh no the game only let me drive off. (im not surprized a lot of people did this). You really didnt seem to get a choice (can't yell out, what bs)
3) Another annoying one i choose to kill the guy as you can't let him go because it might cause trouble. Then with you friend i wanted to speak to her but couldn't. I honestly was hopeing to go back with the gun and get a chat before i made the choice but no it cut me off. (again not to happy about that story)
4) This one went back and forth, hated the guy in the car, then he saved me life and i liked him again, then he wanted to kill them old people when they really weren't a threat anymore. So i left him. ( I wish there was a choice for just takeing a bit and leaving but there wasnt)
5) I also didn't lie, i always tend to go the truthful route, it was a mistake in the heat of the moement. Tough choices have to be made and i had to tell him the turth and he can decide what he wants to do. He took the bag tho... wonder what was in it?
In the end i got Vince, Wyatt & Bonnie, which surprized me but hay thats what i choose i guess. The only guy i really liked was Russell tbh so a bit sad i didnt get him. Hopefully we meet back up with them or something in season two. Im not gonna get to attached to um tho because if we learned anything from season 1 its that most of them will die. sad but true.
I went with the pyramid scheme guy. I thought maybe his mind would have been put to use in another situation. The other guy, while trying to do the right thing, was foolhardy, and I thought would end up getting killed or hurting the group. So I shot his foot and left.
2. Wyatt
Tried to play down what the friend did. I tried to talk him out of leaving, but he wouldn’t have it. I ended up saying give me the gun but he said no. We ended up playing rock/paper/scissors and I won. When the guys attacked the car, I thought I would drive around and pick him up, but he just left him >_>
3. Shel
I pitied the guy and let him go. I was honest with her daughter about Stephanie. I ended up killing her. I thought the guy would then look for us if I just took the RV and things, so I stayed.
4. Russell
I played dead on the side of the road. I trusted him. Then in the diner, I question him and then left him. He felt like a crazy guy, too much of a loose cannon.
5. Bonnie
I tried to play it neutral while they were fighting in the woods. After I bashed her face in and she died, I lied about it. I thought, Dead Men Tell No Tales. He knew I was lying though, I said I found her like that. He stayed behind.
6. As for the Camp, I didn’t want to force people to come with me. I got everybody, but Russell, who thought it was a trick, and Shel, who stayed behind for her daughter, since she didn’t trust her either.
2. Wyatt: Tried to convince him that it was a walker, failed. Lost the game, got out the car with the gun. Decided to save the cop. But then the truck caught up and Eddit just drove away. Then I left the cop there and bailed.
3. Shel: I really liked her whole idealistic "keep humanity intact" thing, so I let the guy go. Of course that lead to Boyd getting killed. I thought long and hard about Stephanie, and at the end I thought betrayal was hard to pass up. So I shot her. Wish the game let my talk to her thought, might have changed my mind.
4. Russel: Nate seemed like a real ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who has too much an interest in Russel for some strange reason. He was also the "antagonist" in Wyatt's story so I knew he was up to no good. Not covering Russel the first time and later suggesting to kill the poor old folks was the last straw, so I left him. He still killed the old couple though :(
5. Bonnie: Tried to stay out of Leland and Dee's fight. Told the truth about hitting Dee because, hey, accidents happen and I don't know if Bonnie can keep with her conscience knowing she killed Leland's wife. The two left together and Leland took the bag with him.
Somehow only got Bonnie to leave for some reason. Not sure how exactly the choices work because I tried my best to be symphathetic and idealistic. Will replay to see what happens.
I think these characters will all still appear in season 2 though regardless of your decision. There's probably going to be a new protagonist whom these characters will join depending on if they stayed or left.
Saved the pyramid scheme guy because he was smart, having both common sense, and book smarts. Figured that would come in handy in a zombie apocolypse.
Wyatt:
Won the rock-paper-scissors game, leaving Wyatt to be in the car. Really not much you can do, decision-wise, if you chose this path. Basically the guy in the truck, which is obviously Nate in Russel's story, comes, tries to kill you, and you drive off.
Russel:
Honestly, I didn't like Nate at all. His douchebaggy, perverted, male-pig outlook and attitude disgusted me, and I'm a guy! His interest in Russel made him out to be a rapist and child molestor. So, I had Russel leave him at the diner the second he got. Didn't even think about it.
Bonnie:
Tried to stay out of Leland and Dee's fights, and told the truth to both Dee and Leland, Dee's being that I told her that Bonnie did have feelings for Leland, and Leland's being that Bonnie accidently hit Dee in a form of self-defense.
Shel:
Decided to kill the guy because he could have revealed the location to other people. Took the keys, and left. Couldn't stand how they were running that group. Too militarian.
In the end, I luckily got all them to go with the woman. Hopefully this proves to be a good thing for Season 2.
I shot and left the pyramid scheme guy behind, he sort of bugged me and I wanted to believe the other guy wasn't actually guilty.
2.Wyatt
I tried to support the friend and then convince him it was a walker, I offered to gol check but then he said he would do it. Then we played rock scissors paper and I lost so I had to go check on the guy we hit anyway lol. I tried to save them but my friend drove away before I got back.
3.Shel
I let the guy go after trying to convince them to let him stay and I was honest with the kid but in the end took the keys because I just didn't want to kill my friend. It was obviously making the kid go a bit cold hearted, so it's probably better for them too.
4.Russell
I stood my ground when the car came past and told the guy a bit of my story but questioned his attitude on women. I coveered him when he made a run for the car, but I left him after he threatened to kill the old couple....which he seems to have done anyway after I left.
5.Bonnie
I tried to be neutral and not get in the middle of them, then I was honest about Dee as I figured he would find out sooner or later. He then eventually left with me and took the box....never found out what was in it.
At the camp I tried to convince them that it was for the best and that they might find other people they know there....in the end I got everybody to come except for Vince. :/ I liked Vince too so that was a shame...I might play through it again and save the other guy in his story.
I actually shot the tougher guy who sits in front of you, mainly because he seemed a bit sturdier and figured he could take it better. Guess I was wrong about that.... At least the guy I ended up with seems pretty good at sneaking and such.
2.Wyatt
Also tried to convince him it was a walker, but to no avail. Won my rock paper scissors so he was forced to go out and look for the guy, which was fitting I suppose since he was the one who stopped in the first place. Ended up being forced to leave him when mister truck showed up, though I wish I could have circled back for him or something. Shame to lose the good-hearted characters.
3.Shel
Let the guy go and somehow that resulted in the other guys death (I am so terrible with names....). When the girl stole, I decided I would go ahead and shoot her for the sister's sake. Too nice of a set-up with a garden and ammo, though I would have loved to have had a secret little chat with her about why she did it. Probably for the obvious scared survival reasons though.
4.Russell
Rode with the guy and humored him at first about my story, but told him off when all he was concerned with was what the girl looked like. After the little scenario with the zombie in the car, decided the guy was pretty nuts, but gave him a chance after saving me. Left him when he wanted to kill the old couple, though still ended up badly for them, at least he got out.
5.Bonnie
Was happy to see a cute romance til I realized she was the mistress of an affair. Tried to be more neutral from then on. When she ended up getting herself killed, I told Leland the truth, figuring it was understandable that in their situation someone walking around with a flashlight would be bad (what was she even doing with that anyway? o.O). Leland said he understood, grieved a moment, and took the bag with him.
In the end, I convinced everyone but Shel to come, which made me quite sad as she was the first one I picked and I looked forward to helping her raise her sister to not be so cold...
2) Wyatt's Story - tried to convince Eddie we ran over a walker. I won the Rock, Paper, Scissors and he went off to look. I was attacked, and I drove off. I drove off, but I would have stayed if I thought I could.
3) Russel's Story - I didn't hide from Nate, I generally opened up to him, but when he mentioned killing the two elders for their supplies (even just in jest), I got straight out of there.
4) Bonnie's Story - I tried to act diplomatic (eventually siding with Leland to shut both Dee and Leland up), but after bludgeoning Dee (gruesome!), I made sure to be honest. Maybe I'd have done that differently as she is a former user, and I wanted to act as a character. I also told Leland I needed him, rather than say to "let her go(?)", which was also, probably something I'd have done differently.
5) Shel's Story - I was initially supportive, and protective towards Becca, though having remembered what Clementine went through, I started to think more carefully. I suggested she play the guitar more often, I objected when Roman said Becca would like to feed the "guard dogs", and ultimately, I killed Stephanie myself (funny thing - when Roman was saying there was a traitor, I forgot the character names and thought he was referring to my little sister.), opting not to let Becca handle it, but maybe these choices are going to affect her story quite drastcally.
I reckon she has a fair to middling chance of dying in the second season if further bad choices are made - she's not like Clementine of the first season.
Earlier in the story, I also chose to release the intruder, which may have put mixed messages in Becca's head when, ultimately, I shot Stephanie. Again, this could be a good thing, because it reinforces the idea of survivalism, but on the other hand, it could turn Becca into an uncaring, emotionless tyrant. I would have probably chose to flee if I'd have thought. That would have matched my earlier choices.
6) Epilogue - I ended up taking Wyatt, Bonnie, Shel & Becca. I really thought I was going to get both Vince & Russell, but apparently not.
I'm at a pain to try it again and see what happens with different choices because it will affect my game in season 2, so I think I might have to start a new game save and play *all* the way through the game again. Sigh. ;)
Killed The Guy
Drove Away
Wyatt
Won Game of rock paper Scissors, drove away
Vince
Ran Off with Wall Street Thief
Russell
Hid (and saw a sad reminder of the past) Took every negative action possible toward Nate because I didnt like him. Left him at Truck stop. (did anyone notice the RV parked out back when they were sneaking in? did it look like the one Kenny fixed and Lily stole?)
Bonnie
Told the truth about what happened
When the Lady met them at the camp, im not certain but I think what you say effects certain peoples decisions. Everyone Went to the Camp...
You don't have to, you can just go on the 400 Days episode and press "Rewind."
No, I've made my choices. Besides, there's plenty of other choices I can make in the first season, which will give me the impetus to play through both Season 1 and 400 days again.
Russell) I hid, and i walked away from Nate.
Bonnie) Acted like there was nothing going on between her and Leland. Lied to Leland.
Shel) Protected Becca, released the guy, drove away.
Wyatt) Won rock/paper/sissors, drove away.
Epilouge) They all came.
I would of restarted the game if they all didnt anyway.
Does anyone have any theories about the character gameplay?
Like..
you think we'll play a character an episode?
or
chose one character at the beginning to play throughout the season?
or
we control a bold character like Vince or Shel?
He threw the gun away, got arrested, told the others that he is a murderer, told the guard to do something, shot the pyramid guy.
He may be smart, but what if he steals supplies and runs away. I couldn't trust him.
