Walking dead won't start, please help.

Everytime I click play it just says preparing to launch then doesn't start, please help.

Same problem here dude, I want to replay it, but after beating it, it wont start at all. I even reinstalled the game and no luck.

Do u have a gamepad connected? Try to disconnect it. Worked for me. AND make a copy of ur safes because the gampad mesed up my config and my safes.

solved starting in windowed mode and compatibility with Windows 98/Me

I can't get it to load either... I have my controllers off and it still won't load, I've had an open ticket with Steam for a week as of tomorrow and still NOTHING from Steam about this. If anyone finds a fix can we please update?

download this file, put it in the Walking dead steam installation foler. (C:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\the walking dead) Once you put this file there it should work.
