Subtitles too fast & sometimes hidden by dialogue choices

I find I find the subtitles to be going too fast in situations where there are heated arguments, i.e. arrival in Macon in Ep1, and the rations in Ep2, which is also made more frustrating when being distracted by text at the upper left e.g. "John remembered your decision" etc. Couldn't a dialogue log be added that could be accessed from the game to read afterwards?

I also find it annoying when dialogue action buttons appear on the screen which cover up subtitles, as people around me are still talking when I'm deciding which button to press. Any plans to patch this and have subtitles appearing on top or bottom of the dialogue choices instead?

Yes, I probably notice these things more than others, but that's because I'm deaf.
