It's works for me
2) Go into "Pack", change "default" (Folder name) to "WalkingDead101" (like all those other folder names stated (WalkingDead102, WalkingDead103 etc. etc.)
3) Go back into the game folder
4) Change the exe. data from WalkingDead101 to just "WalkingDead"
5) Start game and enjoy
ok brohams got this tip because I was having a similar issue with Poker Night 2- another TT game. Go into your programs folder then ...\Steam\steamapps\common\The Walking Dead and right click on the .exe file. Do the troubleshoot compatability and itll probably run it with windows XP. Has worked (just tried it with this) for both games. I think its just a weird thing with TT games. Hope this helps.
I've tried these, nothing at all seems to work, I'm goign to try another compatibilie for windows, but if the game will run on 98, that has to be an issue they need to fix sometime, it doesn't seem correct.
I also had to run it as an admin. Forgot to put that part in. Idk if thatll change anything but thought you should be aware. Running in the compatability mode doesnt seem to effect anything in the game though, graphically or gameplay wise. Which is kinda weird. Im using windows 7 so idk if youre using amother OS which might be affecting how it runs on yours.
