Controller or Mouse/Keyboard?

Just got Series 1 & 400 and am ready to load it up soon. What control method do you like best with this game? I'm a controller noob, but I have one. Might be a good time to get comfortable using one.

Loaded up the game and first thing I noticed is you can not reassign keys. WTF?? Being a left handed mouse user, WASD controls don't work for me... Controller feels odd, but is working ok.

I liked controls best. Double joystick and the buttons/pad for choices. Used a 360 controller and it felt really natural.

It's more tailored toward mouse and keyboard. There is a cursor you move around the screen you have to use in order to interact with anything.

I'm just starting it and have tried both, and I'm not sure which one I like more. Overall I guess I prefer the mouse as it is better for cursor movement, but it's not a clear preference.

What bugs me about the gamepad control is that you have to move that reticule around and then quickly press a face button. They should have used the triggers and/or bumpers for actions, so you could keep your thumb on the right stick (like in a FPS).

On the other hand, I like the dialog choices better with the controller. I find the face buttons more intuitive for dialog than the scroll wheel or number keys. I wish they had used something like Mass Effect's dialog wheel for the mouse/keyboard config.
