twd saying its launching but it doesnt

whenever i click play it says launching for like 5 seconds than it dissapears. it wont let me play the game ive been looking all over the internet for answers but i cant change it ive tried restarting my pc a million times, troubleshooting, unistalling and installing but nothing works (i use windows 11 btw though i only downloaded windows 11 a day ago) please if you think you know how to help please do its my favorite game and i want to replay it so bad

I've found the solution! I've tried to lower the resolution via Compatibility Properties. So here's what I did:
1. Go to the TWD-installed steam location.
2. Find the exe program "WalkingDead101.exe".
3. Right click then go to properties > Compatibility
4. Checklist the "Run in 640x480 screen resolution", then Apply > Ok.
5. Run again the game.

This is optional, you can start from fresh data by deleting its saved data inside the Telltale Games folder. Turn off the steam cloud after deleting the data and run the game. Check the steam cloud save, you should turn on again the steam cloud TWD.

If this solution is fixed for you, you can disable/uncheck again the resolution properties.

lol i just went back to windows 10 and it worked for me but still THANK YOU SM if i switch back to windows 11 and it still doesnt work im gonna try this i really appriciate your help tytytyyty
