Please explain how to finish Episode 1 when Hershel doesn't appear at the barn?

I've played this chapter over and over and Hershel never appears at the barn at the end of the chapter. Can someone explain to an old lady how to do finish this episode?

I think I figured it out, if you don't talk to everyone when it says to go around and meet everyone then for some reason Hershel won't appear at the barn when he is supposed to. So don't miss talking to anyone and you should be good to go..

Talked to everyone, started chapter over, still doesn't work. I think I am done with this game.

So you've spoken to Shaun, Duck, Kenny, Katjaa, and Clem, and asked all the questions you can? I've searched through others who've had the issue and this is the only fix I've seen so far, as Jeckenn said :/ He should be there, that's really strange. I hate when a game is ruined from a glitch, and it's even worse when it's an awesome game to play. If it's still not working, you might want to send a message to [e-mail], maybe it's something they could assist with.

Oh, also! Did you walk over to the wood to saw in the yard and get the option to help Shaun with cutting wood? It should look something like a workbench with a saw sticking out of it, if I'm remembering correctly, it's not far from Shaun. Forgive me if I'm asking stupid questions, I just want to be sure you selected everything you can -- I think you have to exercise every option you have around the farm before you can go talk to Hershel.

Don't give up on this game, you'll regret it. Go to your settings and enable the 'Detect Selectables' option if you haven't (this'll highlight any interactive items/people). Also make sure you've exhausted all of your options in terms of interaction, go through a text or video guide if you think it'll help. If none of that works then do what the others have said and reach out to the developers (Telltale Games).

Just played today the following sequence: Hand over Clem, go to the fence talk to Hershels son and help cutting some planks. Talk to Duck, then walk and talk to Kenny and Hershel was at the barn (think the Kenny part was not important, but I didn't pay attention. Though I ignored Clem and Kennys wife).

Hope you get it working.
