Sigma Sector is just boring
I saw that coming during the livestream. The new area is more of the same, boring and just a re-skinned Infiltration 400% blended with a Special Operation wasteland.

And the drop rates for new items are something special.

The Sigma sector is actually the only descent way to farm quantum crystals for the precise ion accelerators now. It rains reactors + 3k quantum crystals as guaranteed reward.

That's exactly the problem with TFD. Content is "great for farming", "It's a Looter Shooter", one said, and I got that, but where is the enjoyable gameplay?

Im afraid there is no enjoy-able game play unless you enjoy farming materials and your main focus of fun is min maxing granted some players actually enjoy that but in general aspect its just that and nothing else (maybe in future it will change ?) least TFD does not limit you like other games do aka genshin impact and its energy system (- the crafting times/research) but yea if you look for some real deep fun game play im afraid you might wanna look elsewhere...TFD is not bad game but...yeah same grind loop.

Agree. TFD is not bad, the shooting, abilities and ult weapons but endgame feels like just the same "extermination game" with different rewards. Having the main gameplay loop around "grind efficiently to be able to grind faster", as someone pointed out in this forums, sounds more like a part time job. And looks like this is the norm when it comes to the so called "Korean grinding feast" games.

I have more enjoyment with two games that have no more than 2,000 peak concurrent players, which were supposedly to be considered "dead" by the "Steam experts".
It's actually not bad to me. Someone said in world chat that it's just blocks, but it's new content, so I appreciate it. Also, if you're playing Ines, it doesn't take long to blast through it rather easily.

It's a step in the right direction which is away from the exact same dungeon layout that you've run through a thousand times.

That *is* the enjoyable gameplay. If you don't find it enjoyable, it's simply not your thing.

Some people want exactly this. There is a market for it. And some people probably find what's enjoyable for you.... annoying.

I mean, to each his own. We all have different taste.
I'm still kinda enjoying sigma, but I just ran it a few times.

OP is definitely right, it's boring AF and MUCH too easy. I hoped for at least vep level difficulty. But "high risk" is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke, you can literally run it with your eyes closed with any half decent build...

Its just main feature of all looter-shooters like warframe/division/etc. - you grind gear to grind faster, doing same stuff over and over. Same with arpgs like diablo or poe. Not everyone likes this kind of gameplay loop. I like it.

Yeah, the entire game is just braindead easy and excruciatingly dull. It's all just blindly insta nuking hordes of weaklings that pose absolutely no threat, there's no variety in gameplay, it doesn't matter what the "content" is. There isn't even any point in different builds with different strengths, so not sure what we're supposed to be "farming" for. Brainless farming for the sake of farming? No thanks.
Nah, it is great. It is too big so Ines can't dominate here. I wish on this map was Colossi too.
Drop rates are fine, use new system. It is actually the fastest grind so far.

You mean VEP and Vessel? No, thanks.

Not sure how different it is now, but last time I played warframe it still had some semblance of gameplay and variety. You couldn't just solo faceroll everything while not even having to look at your screen. Some enemies still posed a threat, you still needed to use guns, bosses didn't just get basically oneshot and had mechanics you needed to engage with, stats other than damage still mattered and builds had variety. There was even a benefit to having other player around with you, imagine that.

TFD started as a straight up warframe clone and at launch it worked and showed promise, but the power creep (more like power sprint) has made almost every aspect of the game completely irrelevant, idiotic and boring AF.

Yep, those 400% dungeons and Void Vessel. Void vessel has though 2 routes so you could say it's twice but it's not much.
I've found Ines is the best one suited for the Void vessel mission by far compared to everyone else. Where as 400% can be done by more without much of a problem.

I actually find it quite good.
