Agree. TFD is not bad, the shooting, abilities and ult weapons but endgame feels like just the same "extermination game" with different rewards. Having the main gameplay loop around "grind efficiently to be able to grind faster", as someone pointed out in this forums, sounds more like a part time job. And looks like this is the norm when it comes to the so called "Korean grinding feast" games.
I have more enjoyment with two games that have no more than 2,000 peak concurrent players, which were supposedly to be considered "dead" by the "Steam experts".
That *is* the enjoyable gameplay. If you don't find it enjoyable, it's simply not your thing.
Some people want exactly this. There is a market for it. And some people probably find what's enjoyable for you.... annoying.
I mean, to each his own. We all have different taste.
OP is definitely right, it's boring AF and MUCH too easy. I hoped for at least vep level difficulty. But "high risk" is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke, you can literally run it with your eyes closed with any half decent build...
Its just main feature of all looter-shooters like warframe/division/etc. - you grind gear to grind faster, doing same stuff over and over. Same with arpgs like diablo or poe. Not everyone likes this kind of gameplay loop. I like it.
Drop rates are fine, use new system. It is actually the fastest grind so far.
Not sure how different it is now, but last time I played warframe it still had some semblance of gameplay and variety. You couldn't just solo faceroll everything while not even having to look at your screen. Some enemies still posed a threat, you still needed to use guns, bosses didn't just get basically oneshot and had mechanics you needed to engage with, stats other than damage still mattered and builds had variety. There was even a benefit to having other player around with you, imagine that.
TFD started as a straight up warframe clone and at launch it worked and showed promise, but the power creep (more like power sprint) has made almost every aspect of the game completely irrelevant, idiotic and boring AF.
Yep, those 400% dungeons and Void Vessel. Void vessel has though 2 routes so you could say it's twice but it's not much.
I've found Ines is the best one suited for the Void vessel mission by far compared to everyone else. Where as 400% can be done by more without much of a problem.
