Should i build Hailey?
Thing is, im a casual-ish player, not a hardcore one, so i dont really invest that much time to the game, with ines release i've been able to farm stuff easily because she doesnt need THAT much building to farm, but i personally like Hailey, however, i dunno if spending time on her would be worth it because maybe ULT Hailey could be close(hopefully)?
So should i stick to ines to stockpile stuff and wait for ULT hailey or regular and ULT descendants are not that different?

with Hailey you'll need to upgrade her + piercing light (or perforator or afterglow sword) and you'll clear most of the bosses solo in 2 to 30 seconds , but with Ines you only need to upgrade just her, but it will take up to 10 to 60 seconds to clear a boss solo.

Ines is also more versatile since she is good at mobbing AND bossing AND she also doesn't have a movement penalty like Hailey does

My recommendation is to stick with Ines since the costs are much cheaper and less investment

Thanks man, i really was just wondering if it was worth it overall, since im still not on the Endgame part of the game, investing on a descendant that doesnt really add up much would seem wastefull... i do love hailey, visually and gameplay-wise as well, but with Ines just feels pointless...
Hope devs have cool plans for her Ult.
Just wish they added older skins for Ines but oh well, maybe later.
From what I understand, Ultimate Hailey is not going to be released anytime soon. I could be wrong, but I hear Ultimate Blair will be next. Hailey is definitely worth it, as she is still basically the best character for most Colossi. Fully built, with either Piercing Light or Perforator, you can take down Hard Executioner, Pyro, Devourer and Molten Fortress in seconds. You can even do well against Dead Bride, Swamp Walker and Obstructor, although she is not ideal for them.

YES!!!! and no to Afterglow , with the new core system + elements Piercing light goes ahead of Afterglow

Leveling up both Hailey and the sniper is a pain. Weapons take far longer to level up as well.
You can't even use the weapon at all times while leveling.

You have no fun abilities and it will feel like leeching when ranking her up in 400%.

Cryogenic cluster shot + albion cavalry gun
Hailey is your best bet for bosses, no one can replace her, she’s the only one that can kill most of the bosses for 5-15 seconds.
The choice is yours.
I like Hailey.
I picked her up by accident doing invasions, and she is one of the strongest characters.
However, her Zenith sniping skill is not ideal in a lot of situations, ie in the middle of a battlefield, where you have annoying mobs meleeing you.
Ines might be stronger, that is true, and her Snare is absolutely ridiculous.

Ult Descendants have improved defense stats, maybe ability stats and access to 2 modules regular cannot use but does not always mean those mods are better
Also do you want someone who invests into precision shooting not just with guns, her Ult ability and 2 both require going through long animations to do precision shooting
Her 1 is kinda ok for bonus damage to enemies near you, I only have issue with her 3 ability

If you want a simpler Chill character who has burst ability damage, Viessa might be better and she has a Ult version now in game

Huh? I love Hailey's 3 buff. It's great on Enduring Legacy and Afterflow.
More crit, more power. Admittedly she can't really move except to roll,
but she's not a fast character anyway. I still take her into Invasions, and she does fine in the boss room. And Voidship Hard, she does good there.

Her 1 is kinda useless. You are supposed to debuff bosses first with it before sniping them,
but I'm generally never that close or if I'm that close, I use Enduring legacy

Hailey is definitely worth building because she's a boss destroyer. you can use either piercing light or afterglow sword, since they both work well with Hailey, but I rather use piercing light because it does a lot of damage if you aim for the weak spots. Building snipers do take awhile just because you have to hold the weapon and you cant kill a horde of enemies with that gun, so have like Ines or other AOE descendants to level up the snipers for you. Use weapon proficiency boost to level up your weapons faster if you have any. Its true Ines is a monster when it comes to mobbing and 400% missions, Ines is ok for solo bossing, but she can't compete with Hailey or Gley when it comes to solo bossing.

If you don't like Hailey's 3rd skill due to slow movement then get the scout rifle called frostwatcher because its a weapon that allows Hailey to move normally when you use her 3rd skill. To get frostwatch you'll need to kill death stalker

You can easily build a Hailey that can do 400% dungeons by herself. She won't be as fast as Bunny, Freyna and Ines, but will do. Plus, she can great against the bosses.

People will often suggest edge builds, but you can work with middle range, good for mobbing with most of the descendants. Without rely in weapons.

I use her for Frost Walker too even though she isnt iseal she still can do it pretty easy not always first phase but its fast/easy enough when she and piercing light are fully upgraded.
