Anyone already upgraded weapons to max?
I mean, with 7 lv cores. How much difference in dmg you have?
Is it 50%, more or less? Pure weapon dmg without skills.

It depends on the weapon , how is its base critic damage , base weak point , is the base element damage on weapon more than half ?? I think mostly the confusion comes with free form core slot on the top on what is better

like for example executor with gold attack on colossus is almost half of the base firearm attack 3.4k vs 7 k . So I put 2 -270% on colossal damage cores makes it 22k . I went from 50 k to 100k per pellet on defiler .But of course it only boosst damage against colossal .

Another one like Piercing light its better to go weak point cause its base is 2 x and that multiplies all the damage chill, firearm, faction .

I mostly interested in Enduring Legacy right now)

Enduring legacy realistically gains like 30-40% dps, depending on how good your rolls are.
Personally I've put 3 cores on Voltia, Excava and Restored relic.
Excava gains roughly 60-70% dps from cores and actually outperforms Enduring Legacy on Defiler.
It's still a bad idea to farm Defiler with guns, descendants kill him much faster, but what I'm saying is meta guns don't get as much dps from weapon cores as non-meta guns.

Here for example my Excava has 2 times more elemental damage than physical damage

I don't plan to farm Defiler with guns, but I want to make sure that my Yujin will do some real dmg in team. 60 mln is clearly not good enough.
Also EL is my favorite weapon.
30-40 is not enough, I need 50% at least.

There is a DPS calculator. You select your equipped mods, external buffs, weapon stat rolls and after that at the very bottom of the table you can see custom weapon spec 1 and 2, click either one. At the top of the table click on + and input your weapon core stats, see which rolls give you the most DPS. It will show you how much DPS you gain from weapon cores.

Devs said the aim of this system was to give a bigger buff to poorly performing guns and not make the OP ones even more OP. Most meta guns have more QoL and faction damage slots rather than slots for dps.

Thank you for the link)

Well, compared to descendant skills, all weapons need huge buff, not worst of them.
I see now, it is pretty trash list of improvement for El.
First core consists of few dozen parameters. I got 250% Colossus. But than i lose Firearm Attack.
Second core Weak point dmg, crit.
Other 3 is complete garbage, but last one useful only in new dungeons.
What a disappointment...

For El you just need Fiream attack and critic damage.

Or if you using it with valby or Hailey , you could go double critc damage

Other cores are not needed

I have Colossi 250% (base 3000), tested with Yujin - just 70 mln dmg against Defiler. Pure garbage. That makes all that new farm completely useless for me. Changed to 31% firearm attack.

Math Jan 19 @ 9:40am
Kingsguard's Lance receives nearly 300% elemental damage bonus.

Elemental is just a fraction in Yujin case.
After switching to 31% of firearm atk, weapon dps is 1 100 000, that is 82 mln to Defiler with EL only. Still not enough.
@Cat, how much is attribute status effect of EL? I think it's one of unique abilities to increase the value. Go crazy on fire because it can get 50 stacks x 0,4 fire resistance reduction. With higher trigger rate you'll inflict burn and get +11% ATK via unique ability. Then put gold module to increase ATK by +26% when inflicting burn. Crank crit damage and hit rate to max, it has the biggest multiplier of all weapons. I already have EL above 1 mil without core upgrade.

You can test wave of light, once in halo mode it shreds...

For cores you always want to use the best available. ( currently VII ( 7 ) )

The max values of a lower tier is the min value of the next tier up.
ex. The max value of a VI is 30%. The minimum value of a VII is 30%

Attribute is at base level, 10% or something, but triggers very fast. I changed electro to fire (Fire Enhancement + Heat Circulation + Fire Priority), overall "on paper" dmg changes not much - 1 150 000 - 1 200 000 - depending on some mods. But i managed to deal 100 mln dmg to Defiler) I didn't killed him because of mobs+columns. So from 60 mln to 100 mln - kind of improvement)
Unfortunately, in team ppl die a lot, so coop experience is awful overall. Will try with that setup.

No, if value is blue for VII, it is below 30%. I got a lot of that junk.
