New material grind is a bit excessive...

The new material you need to make ultimate weapon cores need 2000 void metals... you only get 20 each run completing 400% dungeons....... that is 100 completed 400% dungeons for ONE weapon core. Just to unlock one ultimate weapon RNG stats...... WUT IS THIS SYSTEM?!?!

Uh no dude..... Void Abyss Metal Fragments, you can only get from 400% and the abyss colossus completions. Go look at the game access info menu under enchantment materials and come back when you read that correctly.

But that would be nice for them to add it to that mode..... you know the NEW content materials should be dropping with the NEW mission maps. lol

thats funny, i do 1 errosion and 2 400% dungeon today and i got over 200 of those mats, guess the game just "magically" gave it to me

my advice to the OP
just build a bunny and do defiler solo its super easy

Solid reply but unfortunately i'm with everyone else on this form.... I shouldn't HAVE to start soloing colossus to reliably farm these dumb mats for rolls and to unlock more ulti weap rng slots.... to yah know... roll on. LOL Why isnt it placed in more areas of the game to get these..... such a shame and brain dead though process that went into this "upgrade" system.

I agree, the amount of materials for the unlock of cores is way to excessive.
At the very least it should be half of what it is now lol ( should not even require more than 500 mats to be honest)

Clear at this point either there's someone in charge who thinks they know best with these things and it takes massive complaints to get them fixed or they're doing it on purpose so they can get praised for their "Devs Listened" memery when they tweak things that were intentionally bad on release.

Bro, you grind the new boss for those, I got 64 in one boss run. Very easy to grind out.

lol this is why we cannot have any sort of hard endgame content.

Even when there is an alternative to get the rewards, casual players still complain. For the record you don't need weapon core unlock to easily clear anything else in the game, its not even needed for the new content that just dropped. Also since this is "hard" endgame content its probably balanced around players that are ready for that content and the average player of this group can probably farm enough materials for a weapon core unlock in around 2 hours so I think the 2000 only once per weapon its OK. (60 mats at 1:30 per kill rounding to 2 min counting restarts and load screens can give you up to 1800 mats per hour assuming 100% success, I said 2 hours to account for possible failures since we are not talking about the "best" players here).

Especially when ( at least it appears to be this way) the bulk of the material costs will be on "re-rolling" the orbs going for those perfect stats.

On the other hand it is a 1 time cost so ...

1 time cost yes, but if you have 10 weapons....thats 10x and thats 1000 runs.

I am actually more irritated, not by the amount needed to create the binder, but rather by NEXON deciding we needed to unlock 5 THIS WEEK for 7 coins in the Battlepass shop (knowing you need these to get all of the rewards before the season ends.)
