Now it's very viable due to how easy peasy to kill them with the nerf.
Oh, I know. I always run it solo. I'm just saying that those types of mission objectives are probably going to be removed if the devs hold true to their statement regarding them. Hopefully, they would then replace the Old Mystery farm with a comparable one elsewhere. But that's no guarantee, so it's not unwise to do a bit of farming there while you definitely can, just in case.
The other dungeon in the same area is best spot to farm plasma battery on hard mode. You can run past enemies that spawn and few rooms in you get to larger room with a trigger. You start the sequence, get 5 out of 6 spots and kill monsters until timer runs out (solo). You will get 4 or 5 elites, each dropping up to 15 batteries (the range is rather wide, starts at 8 and can go up to 15). Once the timer runs out, you fail the mission and can restart it again. This saves you time teleporting to Albion, selecting the mission and loading into it.
They are fixed rotation spawns btw. Any descendant can do this.
