Lepic has arche abilities related to fire, not bombs. Bombs aren't a natural element. But he can infuse those bombs with this element now through arche manipulation.
Descendants essentially combine magic with technology, and the technology was provided by the Magisters who themselves can't wield arche at all.
I think not showing the "people" you are fighting for is a mistake.
Kinda like what bungo did with the guardian being relegated in the tower, it "dampens" the immersion (I don't know ho to put it).
I think having an hub area where you can chill, see npc, maybe even the descendants that you have unlocked (those inactive, so you can have them interact with the one you're using).
That could give more character development too.
They could even add minigames (like card games and such) that you could play with npcs or other players and ,as you mentioned, Luna's concerts.
There is no LORE to this game. Forget it
Devs don't care about it
The first sign of that is already in the first mission that you play in Kingston.
Greg says Ecive and Arche but the game has never explained at that point what that means.
And I believe they never do in the rest of the game neither.
So my guess is there is a massive city under/within the mountain. Though it is kinda irrelevant if we never get even a glimpse of said city. I guess the biggest indicator is the fact the travel points in albion say "city entrance" lol.
It's a nonsense game, don't think about it too much.
From what SciFi novels/games have taught me, the Ancestors and Colossi are the same species that broke into different factions.
