Big Lore Issue
So apparently the story of TFD is saying that the original 3 (atleast as far as the story explains) is awakened with new powers given to them by the "ancestor" but that then bring some pretty lore breaking issues. Lepic has a metal hand that shoots bombs ... it was kind of designed to shoot bombs , why is he surprised in the tutortial saying things like "where did this power come from and the ancestor stating "this is your true form , you have awakened you true power" like it wasn't mechanically designed to shoot bombs. Or bunny and her suit which is considered a technological advancement but if the ancestor is apprently awakening these people's power what's the point of the suit or the arm why doesn't lepic just summon suns from his hand instead? it kind of undermined anybody with technological kits (i.e freyna eisimo , yujin , etc...)

Nah the biggest lore issue is where the hell is the city that normal people live. Luna apparently has dance concerts and I doubt she is doing them on the launch pad.

Arche manipulation is about the ability to channel elementary forces. Bunny for example has electricity related arche abilities, but her suit is the thing which lets her run fast and builds up electricity so she can channel it.

Lepic has arche abilities related to fire, not bombs. Bombs aren't a natural element. But he can infuse those bombs with this element now through arche manipulation.

Descendants essentially combine magic with technology, and the technology was provided by the Magisters who themselves can't wield arche at all.

As far as I understood "arche" was the power of the ancestor (humanity at its peak) and the descendants are folks that have awakened said "arche" naturally or through the help of the magisters (Seneca, Anais etc).

I think not showing the "people" you are fighting for is a mistake.
Kinda like what bungo did with the guardian being relegated in the tower, it "dampens" the immersion (I don't know ho to put it).

I think having an hub area where you can chill, see npc, maybe even the descendants that you have unlocked (those inactive, so you can have them interact with the one you're using).
That could give more character development too.
They could even add minigames (like card games and such) that you could play with npcs or other players and ,as you mentioned, Luna's concerts.

So then what about people like yujin? and freyna , trauma 0 was a poison she supposedly concocted , there's no real "awakening" with throwing some poison at people... which are 2 of her core abilities , the other being coating herself in poison and last being pulling out a gun that shoots... well poison there's not really much of an awakening there. Bunny always had the suit that allowed her to process her powers even before the ancestor awoke. Back to yujin who doesn't channel jack squat. or many of the the other non-elementals like Jayber who also has no arche abilities to awaken. Blair and Valby are the main understandable ones but that's only if they're abilities awakened AFTER the ancestor gave them power but if they always had these abilities what did the ancestor do?

I mean ... yeah definately , maybe there will be some in-game events regarding that like they did in PSO2 , I don't get why there is only one hub and then the rest of the world is in turmoil? They don't really articulate what's going on or what's at stake but there will probably build up more in season 1 I hope.

And here I thought this was about Freyna not being actually immune to all the poison out there. :P

Valby can't survive without her suit. But now she uses Bikini
There is no LORE to this game. Forget it
Devs don't care about it

Story and logic is not the main point of this game.
The first sign of that is already in the first mission that you play in Kingston.
Greg says Ecive and Arche but the game has never explained at that point what that means.
And I believe they never do in the rest of the game neither.

Hmm, after looking a bit in the Albion area, it dawned on me the the fast travel points are called "city entrance". So i looked a around a bit more and think i found out where the city of humanity is. If you fast travel the western point immediately turn around and look down. You will see a chasm with a very large cave entrance with a bright orange glow. Guess where it leads... directly under the big mountain.

So my guess is there is a massive city under/within the mountain. Though it is kinda irrelevant if we never get even a glimpse of said city. I guess the biggest indicator is the fact the travel points in albion say "city entrance" lol.

I don't think the lore is particularly important to the game. Some of the dungeons are enemy forts and such. Why are they all a single hallway? Why are they all convoluted passageways guarded by slowly moving lasers? Soldiers seem to exist in this world, but they also never seem to actually do anything. Why are the descendants going into battle against an advanced alien force wearing bikinis and panda costumes?

It's a nonsense game, don't think about it too much.

Lore? This game have lore? But seriously now. I dont want to be rude but lore and story of this game is garbage tier, generic pile of steaming poop. This game is about nice butts, shooting stuff in solo mode or watching Bunny nuking entire map by running in circles in public mode. Also, big bad boss looks like Fabio on steroids. He looks super funny. Like some kind of cosplayer. But to be honest, if I have to chose between playing unbalanced game with garbage story and attractive people or unbalanced game with garbage story and ugly, fat alphabet people, I will chose first option every single time.

wow somebody makes a post about how the core elements that the game is supposed to revolve around don't even make sense and the majority of the people talk about how they should not expect it to make any sense and it should be a game about butt and bosses... what is happening to the gaming community?

The Ancestors are those giant being you see at the Title screen.

From what SciFi novels/games have taught me, the Ancestors and Colossi are the same species that broke into different factions.
