Season objective of 200K Vulgus kills is asking for way too much

Let's take an example, one of the fastest way to rack up those kill numbers are by doing the electric void fragment mission in Fortress aka "the bunny cave". Each run gives 98 enemies and its not hard to finish them all within 30 to 40 seconds with a well built bunny/ult bunny.
So in order to rack up 200K, we need about 2041 runs in the bunny cave. Assuming each run takes around 30-40 seconds, thats a total of 17 to 22.6 hours if done non stop.

Of course people wouldn't do it non stop for that long. Its so repetitive and boring up to the point of mind numbing. Besides, ideally the players should be able to clear the objective while also being able to enjoy the game. Players would alternately farm other things like certain numbered amorphous materials, rare resources, do infiltration missions, spec ops, and fight colossi. The game would be much more enjoyable instead of doing 1 thing repeatedly like farming void shards in the bunny cave.

Take my case where i have played for over 400 hours (which by no means cant be considered a low number at all) doing various activities in game and not focusing on that single objective and only managed to rack up to around 180K now. Other players with less play time would probably have lower numbers.

I know Nexon has mentioned in Hotfix 1.07 news that the completion rate is lower than their expectation and has mentioned steps done to address that. But from what i see, i think its definitely not enough. With season 1 coming aug 29 which is only in about 11 days, they should have just cut down the number to 100K or 120 to 125K at most. otherwise many players would just give up on ever clearing that "too much of a hurdle" objective just within 11 remaining days.

I have 330 hours and finished the 200k at like 240 hours. I wasn't even trying to complete it, it just finished naturally as I ran mission/kupier mines and outposts.

You don't need to focus on those specific quest
With all the other thing to do (daily, weekly), you can be able to complete the pass

Dunno about any bunnies but with Valby farm it was easy.

I have all Season challenges, this particular one I finished about 2 weeks ago. The most kills contributed to this was in Block Kuiper Mining (Vespers?), I leveled almost all my characters/weapons there (and I'm still only MR20). All defense maps are good source of kills tbh. I visited Bunny cave the 1st time only this week, it is mind numbing.

I'm quite sure you need an area attacker like Bunny or Valby to have a chance for this, 200K is a lot to use guns only.

Agreed, the Bunnys bus in Vesper and the Valby run are usefull in this case (+ excellent for farm)

I got them done mostly by just playing the game and going for other things, but when I had to farm kills for the evolution skin, I primarily did Fortress Outskirts post (around 330 kills every 2:30) and Valby farm (around 450 kills per 2:15).

Anyone doing this seasonal challenge with the intent of finishing it, would have been mostly solo playing.

It's moderately easy to complete if TFD is your main game and you play it a lot. Otherwise, it might get pretty gnarly.

I've played more or less on a daily basis since release and have done a lot of Block Kuiper Mining after finishing the campaign, and I'm just about done with the challenge. Mind you, I have not used Bunny and/or been actively farming Vulgus kills.

It isn't difficult for them, you're absolutely right, but the sheer amount you need to kill is ridiculous and still takes a long while. Took me roughly 5 days to do nothing else but target-farm 150k enemies. It's a brain-numbing experience that I do not recommend to anyone.

At that point you can ignore 1 major seasonal goal by doing all others with merits.
Right now I'm at 173/200k and 208/300 colossi. I will ignore colossi task because current game plan will give that 27k in couple of days (maybe 3).

But for counts - aquarium (valby run) gives you twice per minute. Also you'll get plenty of gold and kuiper.

And for example - yesterday I've found that my ult ajax (mushroom + 2 cata) is like heavy bunny and started to aoe farm. And I get some interesting result:
- While I did sterile lands kuiper mine normal bunny and ult valby stay with me and leech.
- I did some specops. One brings me 1700 kills, one another 1800.
- In one specops valby and 2 others looked at me and leave because I forced them to afk

A lot of other characters can have strong AoE builds, but that would require extra time and effort to make it work, so I doubt many would go this route when you can just pick up your free Bunny and farm it up

If you haven't done it and want to... you're going to have a fun final week. Don't know if other players kills count but if they don't then... my time playing solo for 90% of my playtime certainly helped. Completed it around mid/late July, playing from launch.
