Can someone help me out on drops??

I'm not asking about drop rates, we all know how that is, I am asking about some clarity as to why the AM that is needed for item "A" is stuck behind a bonus drop mechanic. We are already farming for the item "A" with low percentage drop rates when we actually GET the AM, but on top of this we have to farm the AM needed as a hopeful bonus for clearing a mission???
I can't understand WHY they designed the game like this. I have run the HM outposts, infiltration and the spec OPs and every now and then I get the AM I need for item "A". It just doesn't fit into my game logic very well to make the farming...longer? more difficult? Why can't the AM needed be the main drop? I don't see anything wrong with that. I know it isn't for all AM but the HM and Ultimate descendants/weapons aren't all clustered in lower level AM. I don't know about this game sometimes, I try to give it some leeway because its new and I guess I will just hope it gets some more QoL improvements.

Just Use Sharen, She get's the extra's quite easily, other Descendents have a harder time.

Also i believe the in universe reason is something along the lines of them being a mutation that only happens under unspecified specific conditions.

If you use Sharen or in a team with a Sharen and she infiltrated the outpost correctly you all get BONUS drop from the Additional Reward.

Sharen only gets a bonus drop in normal where you can get 2 amoprh from 1 try. However in HM there are 2 different amorph, 1 of which can only be obtained when stealthed.

Yep, Sharen, problem solved, my Ult Lepic is cooking in the oven as we type/read. I had Sharen sitting around sharpening her blades because she didn't have much use. Anyway, ran outposts...solo, didn't have to do all the shutoffs, it seems if you do one less than are in the outposts, the boss will spawn so that was good to see/learn.
Don't know why people ask for help in chat when it's pretty downhill after boss spawns, no wasted ammo on shooting like the run n gun approach. I had trouble with the heavy gunner bosses at some of the outposts but I persevered. Really boils down to your kit, maxed mods and weapons.

Edit that, on outposts with 4 or more it takes one less to spawn boss, 3 is doable solo(should be), i've been running HM outposts and 3 terminals I have to do all 3, 4 or more I get away with 3...I think or maybe its just the particular outpost, haven't done them all yet but I will get around to it.

Are you talking about the Generators you need to hack and turn off?

Just grapple and roll spam your way to get there. It is faster than running. I solo most Outpost as Sharen.

Grind, addiction, cash shop. That's all this game is. That's why it's designed like this.
