steam deck performance?
This game has interested me for a while and probably has been asked before, but has anyone logged a good amount of hours on deck and can confirm if this is a good game for it? Thanks

Have playing for a few hours on the Steam Deck lowest settings (chosen by default) and with Epic games own AI upscaling (looks the best in my opinion) set to balanced.

Typically get 40 FPS, but it is not stable and will sometimes drop to around 30 depending on how busy things are.

Other than that I will sometimes get booted back to the main menu due to "gameplay instability" whatever that means. Sometimes I can play for over an hour with no issues and sometime I get about 5 min before I see the main menu again.

This game can 100% run on the Steam Deck, but the Devs will need to do some optimization for it to be a good experience.

Alright thanks. I'm gonna give it a try soon. Hopefully they'll optimize it for deck in the near future

The SD is getting pretty hot while running the game, but this ain't stopped me from playing 100+ hours on SD (on alt acount) and I'm, loving it ("gameplay instability" disconnects from time to time are a thing - the reconnect system started working for me in most cases lately, so it's not a big deal).
With gyro as a mouse, active only when one of back buttons is pressed, it's really fun on SD.

Frame generation is absolutely the key thing when running this on Steam deck, so you would have to use AMD FSR.
