sooo if you go to your screen and look at an unmodified descendant, there will be a base crit number... lets say 10%
you add another 100% crit from mods it isnt additive its multiplicative so youll only have 20% crit.
some things add to base though, certain skills for example. but they are few and far between.
some guns are better built with crit damage, some are better built with weakpoint damage. it all depends on the base you are multiplying off of
So say your gun has a base crit chance of 10% and you get +50% crit chance...
How much do you thing you have? 60%? NOPE! You have 15%.
10% + (10% * 50%)
= 10 + 5
= 15%
Where can you see this information about descendants? I only found the weapons, but I didn't find the descendants.
not necessarily haha, but actually how it is described in the game is quite misleading.
In weapons with low criticals it really is rubbish, but in rifles and hand cannons they are very useful.
so you better stay @ 10 . couz even you rise to 33 % its not much improve on it.
so you can go to your main screen and press W to see your stats. gotta unequip everything to see base i believe?
this website a little bit easier, im havent personally looked to make sure all the numbers are correct, but ive never heard of a complaint

yes, but I thought that most of their damage came from critical attributes, but that's not the case from what I see. Thanks for your help, now I understand better how these bonus attributes work in the game
