Really theres no reason to defend this because nexon does not care about you or your money, games playercount has already halved and many arent going to stick around like me because of the repetitive game mechanics so having a RNG based character unlock system that locks most people out of replay value was never going to be a good idea even without the reputation nexon has built for themselves.
only time will tell
ok cool, keep it to yourself
Been playing games for the last 30 years and mmo rng type games for 20+ years, i feel nothing is off. But i do like to poke at the tin foil hat people. Without any solid proof they have nothing but conspiracy.
yeah im good too, some drops are taking longer than others but sometimes rng blesses you and sometimes rng just hates you
There should be a roughly average amount of time they expect players to grind for stuff.
A 20% drop rate should on average take 5 runs, but probability being what it is, it could take 1000 runs.
If it's true what they say, and the drop rates are averaging out to be their correct amounts, then that means across the playerbase it averages 5 runs to get a 20% item.
If they capped the grind to guarantee an item after 2x the average, so 10 runs for a 20% item, it means the average is still 5 runs, but now you aren't getting players running the same mission 40+ times and not getting the item.
They would lose nothing, and guarantee the drop rates are what they say they are without us having to trust their word.
The reason people say "in x amount of runs" is giving you an AVERAGE. That average isn't a 100% thing, it's what it is, an average chance of happening.
It's also possible you'll get it the first or second run, or the fifteenth or more. An average isn't a guarantee.
Prove it. Because after I spent an entire day doing a mission """127 times""" to get one of those "15%" items. I call BS. Either the developers are lying. Or one of them added a decimal point where they should not have.
20% chance is PER RUN. It's a dice roll each time if you get the result you are looking for or not, and it can happen that something like that does indeed occur.
Not that you're going to try and understand that because asking someone who's already calling **** on something they'll never listen even if you actually list out all the detailed facts about the situation, so I won't be bothering further than this. If you want to be upset over something you don't understand that's your business. Have fun.
