Questions About Mod Combining...
Can we manipulate the results by mod rarity and mod type?

Like, we have 4 rarities of mods (blue, purple, orange, and red), and we have 5 types of mods (Descendant, white ammo, orange ammo, green ammo, and purple ammo).
Each rarity and type influence in 25% chance of coming a mod of that rarity and type, this means if I place 3 purple mods and 1 blue mod, I'll have 75% chance to get a purple mod, and 25% chance to get a blue mod... The same with the types, if I place 3 purple ammo mods and 1 descendant mod, I'll have 75% chance to get a purple ammo mod and 25% chance to get a descendant mod. SO... I can combine the rarity and types to try to get the mod I'm looking for, like.

Is this how this work?

I don't think, that it works like that, but given how bad the combining is in general, i'm also not willing to test it.
I think its completely random. I've gotten all colors combining 4 whites. And compining 4 same mods gives "always" something completely different.

Ofcourse you would need thousands if not millions of combines and make a spreadsheet for everything you get to really have some statistical idea how it works. But my (too) limited ~200 combines doesnt feel like any formulaes to me.

Think you are better of just getting the kuiper than lottery with combines tbh. Also faster to just dismantle them for kuiper. So you can use the saved time to target farm the mods you want.

I'm gonna do 7 combinations right now because of the Steam achievement, and I'll try to use only blues just to see if I'll get only blues, or maybe I go only purple just to see if I'll get only purples.

So... By this small test I already can see it's 100% random and what I assumed is completely wrong.
The COMBINATION 03 and the COMBINATION 07 showed that, even if I used 4 mods from the same rarity, I got a higher rarity.
The COMBINATION 04, COMBINATION 06, and COMBINATION 08 showed that, even if I used the same type of ammo, I got a different type.

This is a lie, I tested and 5 out of 10 didn't work as predicted.
